    FIREFIGHTERS saved a restaurant and bar on the North Cornwall coast from being destroyed after a blaze broke out in its laundry room. More than 20 members of Cornwall Fire and Rescue attended the incident at the Waterfront in Polzeath last Tuesday.     STAFF at Wadebridge Tesco and Padstow Cubs got on their bikes to raise £450 for Diabetes UK. Staff hopped on and off exercise machines over the weekend in a bid to cycle the distance to Lapland. The money raised counts towards their £10 million fundraising target for Diabetes UK, Tesco's National Charity Partner.
