    WADEBRIDGE SCHOOL has applied to Cornwall Council for permission to install 40 solar panels. The application for 10kW roof-mounted photovoltaic panels would include provision to generate electricity for use on-site as well as export to the national grid.

    A PETROL strimmer was stolen from a pick-up truck parked in St Minver. The theft occurred sometime between 10am and 4.30pm on Thursday, February 16, when the truck was parked in the driveway of An-Garrek. Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area on that day can contact PC Malcolm Taylor at Wadebridge police station on 01208 895872, quoting crime reference BW/12/97.

    WADEBRIDGE YFC are holding their annual dung run on Sunday, March 25. Members are selling it at £1 a bag in the Wadebridge area and if anyone would like to order a bag they should get in contact with Steph Hawkey on either 01637 880327 or 0780 9319768. All the proceeds from this will go to the club's chosen charities this year, the Sunrise Appeal and Tanya's Courage Trust.
