Burkina Faso fascinates

MORE than 400 children and staff at Wadebridge Primary School heard first-hand about life in East Africa from a visiting head teacher from Burkina Faso.
Dramane, principal of a high school in the capital, Ouagadougou, answered questions on everything from the subjects taught in his school to the weather in his country.
(And yes, the sun really does shine all the time.)
The whole school took part in an assembly arranged as a spin-off from the Global Student Conference being held at nearby Wadebridge School.
The conference aims to highlight different health outcomes across the world, with a focus on the life chances of expectant mothers.
One five-year-old in the front row was so bowled over by the visitor that he blurted out: "Wow – you look really cool!"
"He actually said what we were all thinking," said teacher Jeremy Northcott.
Wadebridge School supports the students and teachers in Dramane's school and over the years close ties have been forged between the two.
Comments
Burkina Faso is actually located in the heart of West Africa, not in East Africa.
I hope this gets corrected in the article..
