Wadebridge together with Bodmin and the surrounding villages is the latest community to be targeted by a support team in Bodmin.
The team targets anti-social behaviour by working closely with the neighbourhood policing teams and Tactical Aid Group (TAG).
Currently the police team are targeting drug dealers and this has already had a number of positive results.
Police are appealing for information from the public about those using and selling drugs in Wadebridge.
On Wednesday evening a warrant was executed at an address on The Platt.
A search was made and a substance found which the police suspected was cannabis.
A 28-year-old man was given a warning for possessing a controlled drug.
During the past month police have made three arrests in the town of people who were suspected of possessing cannabis or cocaine.
On Friday, November 4, officers were called to The Swan public house in Molesworth Street following reports that a male was selling drugs.
A police spokesman said: "A 21-year-old male from Bodmin was arrested at the scene for affray and on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug.
"He was later released on police bail while inquires continue," he said.
"We're operating a zero- tolerance policy on all drug users and dealers.
"Once we receive sufficient information to authorise a search warrant, this will be actioned.
"Over the next few weeks we will be executing many more warrants in the Wadebridge and Padstow area.
"We rely on information from the public so if anyone suspects that someone is using or dealing in drugs at an address in either town or surrounding villages, we would be interested to hear from them."
