Police appeal for vigilance as theft of oil increases

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing to the public after having had 6 reports since the weekend of the theft of heating oil from external tanks throughout the Cornwall area. 

A Police spokesperson said, "Would members of the public particulary those in rural areas where heating oil is a more common form of fuel, please be vigilant and report any activity they feel is suspicious and could be connected with these crimes on contact no. 101 quoting crime no. BD/12/93.
