Mercury award winning Gomez songwriter teams up with local composer

Tom Gray, a member of the platinum selling indie band Gomez, has teamed up with composer Matthew Slater, from St Mabyn near Wadebridge, to collaborate on a new and exciting project. 

Details of the project are still under wraps as the project is in its infancy.

What Matthew could say was, "It's been a great experience working with such a talented singer/songwriter as it's brought a new dimension to the writing process. If this project moves forward, as we hope it will, I'll be working with Tom a lot more." Matthew continues; "I think it's safe to say that what we're working on requires many different disciplines and skills. It's a fantastic opportunity to work alongside such a great musician."
