WADEBRIDGE Camels coach Dave Elston was delighted with the 32-0 victory at Cornish rivals Penryn in a crunch relegation clash at the Memorial Ground.

It is now only one defeat in four league games for Camels as they gradually pull themselves away from trouble in South West One West.

"We are starting to come into a little bit of form," said Elston. "We picked a team specifically to run the ball last Saturday, but the weather wasn't particularly good.

"We had a lady exchange referee, and she gave us the option of calling off the game, but both sides decided to play.

Full back Will Pengelly, who turned 18 in November, scored two of Camels' five tries.
